I have another question about my SX1100 Special. The only way the fuel gets to the carbs is when it is turned to prime. I tried unhooking the gas lines from the petcocks with the handle on the on position and putting a vacuum on the valve but they did not open. I will take the valve apart on my days off this next week. Any ideas???

Did you have enough fuel in the tank? If you are down into the 'reserve' area, you won't get anything from 'on'. JAT...

Just take them aprt and check the diaprams...new ones are cheap. Oh, and it is an XS not an SX
