xs1100 vs xj1100

hi just wondering what is the differance between xj1100 & the xs1100 as far as horse power xj1100 is 82max the xs1100 is 79 thanks badrap

Other than Maximan's the XS puts more ponies to floor than the XJ does.

Stock XSes,
78E is the "fastest"
Some change in the carbs in 79' but still BS34 II
80 started with BS34 III carbs, lower compression, different valves/cams and TCI change
82 has the YICKS system and another TCI change.
