On Holley carbs for cages, they have an externally adjustable float setup and a plug on the side of the bowl to check fuel level. There used to be an aftermarket plug made of clear plastic so you could visually check the level without removing the plug. Maybe something like that could work. It would mean drilling and tapping a hole in the bowl, but it would be handy. Not sure how to make the floats externally adjustable though. Shoot, I can't quite remember how Holley did it...

This is for a scooter, but it has been done. It would take quite a bit to set up the tooling to make one that actually worked, with the jet in it, and all that. However, once the tooling was done, they would probably be easy to make. They would look cool at least!1980 XS850SG - Sold
