        Hi folks

Can someone explain the deal with the rear pessanger grab rail.

Which way up should it be?

WOW .. That is in deed a CLEAN and well kept bike. Looks like it might have been under the sheet that is laying on the floor behind the bike. It is parked sooo close to the wall that it looks like it has not been used for a while. It will make a good score for the lucky buyer

I'm not sure how that site works but the "buy now" is listed as 10K? I wonder if there is a reserve on it and if so what is the reserve. Myself I would not pay 10K for the bike even in that condition.

Just checked the ad more closely and it says the reserve has not been met. I will guess that these bikes are a lot rarer there.

                        American doolars?

Are we sure that the prices mentioned are American dollars?
Isn't the bike in New Zealand?

                          Hi Pat,
no way is that grabrail upside down.
                          It might be on backwards?

                            Who's Dollars?

                            Just checked my currency converter,
                            NZ$10,000 is US$7,237 or CAD$8,328.
Ask yourself "How much to ship that bike to North America?" Then ask, "How much to ship my ratty-looking $1,000 XS11 to Merriams, get it pristined and shipped back" Then go buy a can of turtle Wax.

                              Grab rail

Maybe the grabrail is on backwards because New Zealand is right hand drive?
