Is it possible to get a torque wrench on the bolts from the engine to the drive shaft. This is inside the rubber covering of the driveshaft. Not to that point of reassembly, thought I'd ask.

You should be able to put a "crows foot" on the bolts, and use a wrench on that. It still will be hard, and IMHO not worth the trouble. I just use a 12mm and get it Guddentight.

I got the engine shined-up right some good thats goin into my bike, just waitin on warmer weather so that I can paint the frame then install the engine into the frame cradle. Later I got parts to go on ebay off the remains of the 79 Special, if it were'nt so cosmetically wretched I would have restored it.
