frontlight coupler multi-light?

I found this jerry rig within the light assemble
while hooking my newer wiring harness.
is this a original part because i cant find it anywhere and its not in a manual.

NO IT ISN'T STOCK!!!
That looks to be a "headlight modulator", or possibly a device to have both low and high beams on at the same time. If your putting in a "new" harness, I would just junk the part. JMHO
