I've had my carbs apart in a box in the garage all winter, and now that it's getting warmer I thought that I should clean them up and reassemble them as to get as much riding out of the season as possible, but of course since it's been a couple of months since I took them appart, it's like putting together a puzzle. I've figured just about everything out, except where the shortest and blunt tipped jet goes. If anyone could help me out with this it would be muchly appreciated. ('80 xs11 sg)

"shortest and blunt tipped"... didn't help much
I searched for a while looking for a good photo... but need to get to work soon.
You have BS-34III carbs.
You should be able to read the sizes on the jets.
Mains are:110 for cyls 1+4, 120 for 2+3
Pilot jet is:42.5(Goes in the tower next to the main jet)
Air jet (main) is:140
Air jet(pilot) is:185
Air jets go in the bell of the carb, airbox side."Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mechanic!' ('Bones' McCoy)
