  • Front MC reservoirs

Anyone know where I can get a Front MC reservoir. I know randy sold a few a while back. MY bike fell over while I was out of the garage yesterday. I still can't figure out how this happened. The MC caught the fall on the metal shelf next to it. Besides destroying the shelf, it seems that the reservoir might have been damaged. THe outiside has been cracked for a while, but a hairline crack must have formed on the inner layer because it drips now. I can not actually see the crack. It has always been a little warped. I do not have the money to buy a new MC. Any info?

There is one up on ebay now. It looks to have cracks like yours, but might be worth a shot.

Are you just talking about the plastic? I've just declared my MC dead from way too much rust. The plastic is still good. I even have a brand new top for it.

It's yours if you want it. I'm just tossing it out otherwise. It's from an '80 SG.

Yes. I am just talking about the plastic. The problem is that I need one from a standard. I do believe they are different. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I wonder if they could be machined out of aluminum?

The plastic reservior is different betwen the two models and will ot interchange. I will take that Special reservior if you're looking to get rid of it, though.

I've still got a couple of the units Randy was selling. I bought his remaining stock when it looked like sales slowed. Price is still US$39 including airmail shipping anywhere in the world. PM me if you're interested.

For $76 (I think) www.partsnmore.com has the all metal master cylinder. Never worry about it breaking again.
It's in the upper right hand corner of their home page.
I have one on both my XS's.

I replaced mine with a used MC from either a Radian or Fazer. Around $30 . Muck lower profile..
