    Muffler mount?

On a MAC 4 to 1 where the heck does the muffler mount bolt onto, and what are the 3 black brackets that came with it for? I bolted it directly to the aluminum plate that mounts the foot rests, but I'm afraid the heat will melt the rubber grommit that's in there, does anyone know where I'm supposed to bolt it on?

You have it right. That is where mine is mounted and the mount back there really doesnt get all that hot.

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.

Yes, you have it right. The third bracket is for the center stand stop
