Took my xs1100 by my local MC shop and the mechanic said he thought I had a Kirker header. How can you tell the difference between say a Kirker and a Mac ?

Here's a PIC of a Kerker on a 78 1100. the Pipe runs right down the middle under the bike to a point at the foot peg before comming out the right hand side. The one in the PIC has a supper Trap on the end.

LOL that pic was taken a few hours after we arrived in Savage Cove Newfoundland. That was in about 1981. The girl is now my X wife and the van was my cousin's. As can be seen .. the bike was a work in progress.

My Kirker has the name stamped on the mount bracket. Paint has it covered, but if you look on the outside of the bracket, near the weld, you should be able to she the "KIRKER" stamp.
