front/rear ? master cyclinder
parts & more have a front Part#08-0264 will that work on 81 xs midnight. has anybody seen a new rear master thanks all

They appear to be extinct; I can’t even find rebuild kits for the rears. Some of the guys on here have suggested replacing front cylinder and lines with one from another special. Only the 81 midnights and the XJs have the spilt braking system. Hey Joe,
Check with Glenng, he just posted about having the LINKED rear MC that he wants to swap out for a Standard XS style! You may be able to do a swap with one from your donor bike, you state is an 82 XS? not an XJ??
