  • Macho Maroon off the shelf match?

Has any one found a good match for the original Macho Maroon paint color with an off the shelf auto paint? (I thought I had a good match with Ford FM 3950 color, looked okay for small tank touch ups but when I painted a whole side panel did not look the same.)
    Thanks

    "Paint your wagon"

Duplicolor "Dark Toredor Red. Not perfect, but close. Painted a fairing, and from a few feet away, it looked same/same as the fuel tank. (Ok, maybe a little more than a few feet away)

Can you post a PIC of this. If it's close enough it would save me doing a LOT OF leg work in my search for a close match to that 1978 "Macho Maroon"

        Can't.
I painted Sluggo's Fairing.... and all of the pics from the ride back to Denver show the bike from the side, or the back; nothing that could compare the fairing to the tank or side covers.
It's close... but then the fairing painted surfaces are two feet from the tank.
