Also straight from the CDC website:

"How likely are xylenes to cause cancer?
Both the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the EPA have found that there is insufficient information to determine whether or not xylene is carcinogenic."

Actually if you read about toluene, its ill effects are when your body metabloizes it. Most of it your body can get rid of, but the little bit that is left after metabolism, is hard on your liver.

            I think it works!

I'm using SEAFOAM as a stabilizer in my bikes over the winter.

My 1983 Chevrolet failed emissions testing last week. My hydrocarbon reading was 333 and 137 is allowed for that year. I didn't feel like messing with it. I had less that half a can of SEAFOAM in the garage and I poured it down the carburetor. I bought two more cans and added one to the 10 or so gallons in the tank. I drove around until the indicator read "E". I poured the other can in the tank and fueled up. I also replaced the air filter.

I had the car retested and it passed! I don't know how old the fuel in the tank was at the first test, but these are the facts.

I'd be very interested to see how my '83 Chevy does in an emission test! Not sure Seafoam would help it though.

You can get Seafoam in Canada at CarQuest. I got a bottle two years ago here in Ottawa. Can't attest to any miraculous results however.

Got some from the local UAP/NAPA store. They carry it on the shelf, were just out the day I checked, and i got a Noob on the counter.

They also have a Seafoam Tranny treatment.

It is also spelled Newbie - referring to someone that is very uneducated or ignorant, typically new.

Actually, in gaming a 'Newbie' is a polite way of teasing someone who is new to the game, or gaming.

A 'Noob' is the not so polite thing you call someone who should know better, but acts like a Newb.
