  • Exhaust worth buying...?

Does anyone here have any experience with these pipes. I stumbled across them today and they look like they woul be pretty sweet. They also look like they will be pretty expensive.
Curious if anyone knows if they are worth it or not.

Looks like you'd have to remove them to change the oil filter for sure.

Yeah they definately aren't the most user friendly. But they look like they would perform really well and sound great.

They do work good. I saw several sets on 750 Kaws in the early 80's when I was roadracing.
        Check out this thread:
        X pipe thread

I sent a message to the seller asking if he was Pat Egan (the designer of the X pipe. He said no but was very curious how I knew Pat Egan. I wonder if there's a patent dispute going on.

There might be. He kept refering to "the original designer" in his fleabay add.

It really depends on the price and how hand a person is.

I only have about $200 into my exhaust and I doubt it's perfrormance is any less. I know mine is much quieter.

Sure they are a little more expensive. $325 for black, but I am trying to make it louder. The general public here in Denver is well known for not looking for people on bikes. They notice you a little more when your rattling their windows.
