79 XS11 Special Tach

Is there anyone that can repair these ? Mine doesnt work.

I have one off a '79 special collecting dust in a box, someone should use it, won't work on my 80g. Have the speedo to!!!!

I don't know if the tach works, but I am sure I could hook it up to my 80g and test it, I can, right? (Someone chime in here if I am gonna let the smoke out of something
)
