  • Valve stem seals

Last week I bought eight valve stem seals from a guy who no longer needed them. They all look alike.
Now I noticed that intake and exhaust seals have different partnumbers......How can i tell the difference?

I'm pretty sure there's no difference. I just put a head together with a complete gasket kit, and there was no separation or differentiation of stem seals for one side to the other, just 8 seals in a bag.

I guess you're right. I got a bit confused when I watched this site:

but according to Yamaha they're the same: 1J7-12119-01-00 or
