anybody interested in some work let me know i pretty reasonable campared to other shops. i have done all makes and models from briggs to 800+ cu pro stock heads.
How much? And do you have any dyno numbers or track times to back your work?
You would sell a butt-load of these mods here if you had some dyno results of the before and after, to show how this mod would benefit our bikes.
With a little more convincing, I would be game for more performance also. I want my old bike to haul @ss, but not at the expense of my low/mid range torque.

yeah i dont have any dyno stuff. like i said im just getting into the bike stuff. i have seen plenty of history in the auto field, but that isnt really important to explain. i thought i would just throw these pics out there to see what people thought, i know its ported damn good whether or not anybody else thinks so is really not important i was just looking for a place to come and learn about these bikes and talk about the same interest. i am not looking to get popular from the pics. i still want to get my bike running and try to see if i can get running with a mild head, as ive read on this site carbs are really super sensative to change.,so thats why i am not gonna get crazy with any work on mine.
        thanks for interest guys.

          general questions

Is there really a difference in power by grinding that Valve guide casting down to a tip as XSvirgin did in the previous pics? I began porting out an '80 head last night and I rough-ground the intakes and relieved the areas where the factory casting didn't match with the rubber intake boots. I also-rough ground the exhaust ports and then put a really smooth finish on those. The factory head has a straight across ridge on the exhaust side and I ground and smoothed those level.....I stopped there because I didn't want to grind those valve guide castings if there really isn't much of a power gain....Inputs?
