Hi, I have two broken mixture screws, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get just mixture screws for a 79sf. Can't buy carb kits just for them.

Hey, ya I got the tips out. What a pain! I ended up using the "needle trick" with a sewing needle. On the second carb I got the broken tip out, but then I was like... seems there's something in there still. Put the sewing needle in and it's tip broke off... anyway, eventually got that one out too

What if the sewing needles keep breaking? I have one that will not come out(see my jetting post) I measured the existing screws with my new digital caliper and just orderd a cool drill set that was about $12. It has all of those small gauge drills. I think that I am going to just hand drill it out wit a 74 gauge or soo. MAby the next size down. I tried every sewing needle I had(machine and hand) and they kept bending and breaking trying to push the broken screw outUnited States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY
If I can do it at 18 yrs old, anyone can
