broke off exhaust stud
I was trying to remove my header from my 78 xs11, I broke one stud off and tried drilling down through the center, did not have any luck so i tried installing a heli coil but the tap will not go in far enough to make alot of thread, does anyone have any ideas?

Just to let everone know i finally got the heli coil to work. Any one have any ideas where a guy could pick up a used header or exhaust system for a 78 xs 11? -
Glad to hear you got the helicoil to work. As far as the pipes, better doing a search on EBAY! Andreas Weiss also monitors the site, he handles lots of used parts, may chime in IF he has a set! There is a SPECIAL FORUM for posting in for requests for looking for parts, I've copied this part of your thread and put it there!
