question about front fender

A while back we dertermined that the xj front fender had a built in fork brace. My question is, will the xj fender fit on a special under the tkat brace? The reason I ask, is because some highly intelligent familly member gave me a $100 ebay gift cert and I want to get a new front fender in really good condition (mine is dented, kinda tweaked to one side, and pitted in the rear half).

Have an 81 special fender, will check if interested.
Don't remember what condiction it's in tho.....

(have a 4 cylinder diesel rebuilding for customer)
