With the pipes just hanging there, how do you keep them on at the collector? Very nice clean bike though, and I like the XJ wheels on it. Kinda biased on that opinion though... lol

      Nice job!

PVC will readily dissolve with acetone (fingernail polish remover). But becareful as it is extreamly flamable.

The mufflers have mounts to hold them like the original pipes, the brackets are just hard to make out, they mount of the rear peg mount.

This is an australian 7/82 XS1100R.....I think it would be very vlose to your sport model...the wheels are standard on this model....it has lots of the MNS stuff including the front to rear brake link up pipe it also would have have a front bikini fairing on it but all i had was the mounts on the bike so I took them off and didnt worry bout' it, I think it looks better naked anyway.
this is also the one that has the XS900 carbs on (thread was posted week or so ago...thanks for the comments..

          wow

well gold coast you just made up my mind on whether or not to paint my fenders. That is a nice, clean bike. you guys think pearl white would look as nice as the darker color?

tmon58, I think the lighter colors are just as nice as the darker ones....have seen heaps of white bikes at shows and they all looked really cool......but the main think is bikes are all original to the owner....so your ideas to make your bike "yours" is what makes the bike look good. .....Cheers!

Saw a Yamaha Road Warrior yesterday in white with ghost type graphics and what looked like a hundred coats of clear on it.....Looked great...not sure how nice it would be to clean it EVERY day being white but it did look nice....
