I'd rather spend a grand polishing a turd XS than putting 25 grand worth of lip stick on a Harley pig

Okay, I have to take that back. There are a couple of bikes on Jones's site that I like. But I've seen better paint jobs by some of the "amateurs" on this site.

I like the merriam red XJ thingie.. and the E methinks in black silver sorta scheme.
Next favorite is stock MNS... as far as paint jobs go. The black and silver 1.1 that I have after that :P
Anyhoo... they do awesome job at merriam cycles methinks... if I were rich, I would definetly get one of theirs. But im not, so I wont.
The prices of their bikes... well... IMHO are not extreme. Not cheap, sure. But if you want cheap, get something else. I put about 3/4 of the price of one of his bikes into mine. And it doesnt run or look nearly as good as his bikes do. The 78E at least
Besides... I dont know where else can you get almost 30 year old bikes in like new condition with all the goodies on for the price of a new new bike. You have a choice because of Bob Jones and the rest of his bunch. And I think its good.
