    Steve,
The second photo shows crome fork tubes, but the first look like they are black. Did you change the tubes, or is it just the lighting?
I'm going to be looking for black fork tubes for the winter project. If you changed your tubes, please let me know where you got them.

      Hey Ray,
The fork tubes are original. Just cleaned up lowers and painted flat black. Sorry no replacement suggestions from me
It must be the lighting if your talking about the upper area.

        Side covers...

I think you need some kind of flat side covers, maybe flat grey????

I like it, keep up the development. I would trim (cut) off the un-used portion of the passenger foot peg mounts. Thin diamond plate painted black for the side covers. I would also trim the front fender and paint it too. Drill holes in the lower rear part of the fender in a pattern about 3/8" dia.. The exhaust could be bigger diameter IMHO. I like to critque bikes so take this a my opinion only, I love the bike.

bike is awesome, bet it sounds mean with those small dia. pipes.

To add another suggestion, try forming some light sheet metal around the front area of the seat to smothen the lines and cover up a bit more of the frame. Wouldnt be hard to attach, pop rivets, zip ties, spot welds, hell anything practically.

Keep up the good work, your giving me ideas.

                Thanks for the suggestions guys,
I have original side covers and they are at a buddies gettin air brushed, I am going japanese themed, Yin/Yang with a dragon and a white tiger gettin ready to battle on one side, and the Kanji symbol for power on the other side. I like the Idea about filling in with something around the front of the seat I will work on that. My buddy is also gonna do the tank but not sure whats going to gone on it. About the sound of the exhaust, anyone ever stood next to a V8 with an open header, Yeah its pretty close. If your not expecting it, it will make you jump.First time my buddy heard it is eyes just about jumped out of his head. I love the sound. It screams hey look at me. I will have to ask my buddies who have hardleys how it sounds when your following it
                Later fellas

                      'nother suggestion

Bike looks pretty bad@$$, man. I'm gonna preface this with "this is only a suggestion, so consider and then decide." There. Done with that.

I think that with the chrome around (fenders, handlebars, engine covers, pipes, etc...) the bike, it feels like it's missing some up in the middle. What about taking a thin silver line of paint around the creases of the tank (similar to original paint scheme)? Maybe just around the indentations for the knees. I think that would give the bike more balance.

Can't picture it with your designs on the side covers, so those may take care of it when they're on.

Would also agree w/ Bauer that the space between the seat and tank could use some smoothing.
