  • Tire Question

    I have a Dunlop Qualifier front tire from a bike I scrapped out.
    The tire only has a couple K miles on it. Would it work ok on the XS? Don't know if it's compatible or not, hate to chuck it out tho. O/W I'll give to my brother, who now owns my old XV920.

    Size DOES matter!

    What size is it? Are you putting it on a stock XS rim? I just put a new Dunlop on mine...its a 110/90-19 and it fits just fine.

      Poor Boy Motorcycle Co.

      It's the correct size, not sure about the radial vs bias ply thing.

        Never Mind Found it

        Looks to be a radial.

          Should be just fine...as long as you are comfortable with the condition of it. Was the bike it came off of wrecked or have serious front end damage that might affect the tire's performance?

            Radials = bad?

            No problems with either the tire or the ex-bike. I am under the impression that radials are not recommended on the XS. I am replacing both tires, and all the replacements call for bias belted.
