The other day I saw a working 1980 Midnight Special in Mass on eBay for that bidded to that price, but unfortunately I'm in the same position you are.

I have asked the seller if it is still available. I have family in that area, who could possibly pick it up for me, and store it for the winter, and I could go up in the spring and get it running and WK and I could ride it back, or maybe buy a trailer hitch, rent a trailer, and go up and bring it back that way.

Hey John

Have you made a deal w/ seller yet? My sister was going to go take a look at it for me as I'm selling (giving?) my 80G to her. She lives in Minneapolis and would bring it down here to Az. when she comes in a couple of weeks. I don't want to "bid" against other XSives, (especially Moderators lol) but now that I've made the deal with her for my bike I need another one!

You have to do this for love... because these bikes make TERRIBLE investments. The perfect drug... takes your time.. takes your money.. and the rush is legal!! lol. (Kept within the speed bounderies anyway)

Mr. Trbig, you sound like my mom did when we got the 3rd bike. "How can 2 people ride 3 bikes?" Well, guess how she felt when we got the 5th Only 2 riders and 5 bikes Slowly but surely we are accumulating enough spare parts. Every time we get a bike, the seller has a box of parts and a manual.
