Driveline sounds

Mine makes a sort of ringing sound at exactly 60mph in fifth gear, but i always thought that was normal resonance. Anyways, my 81SH made the same sound.

Is this common?

Mine does that too. Good description too ringing hits it right on the head. That never bothered me, the noise I have now is getting a bit disturbing. Wife says she doesn't hear it but it's there. Just don't want anything locking up at highway speed.
