Mucho Problemo....found out that the leak from my rear housing on my XJ1100 came from a stripped housing. Can't imagine how it could have happened, do all my own oil changes (and I dont drink so that wasnt it

So, rather than try and retap it or helicoil it I thought I would see if anyone has a spare that would be willing to trade. I have the following available, all off a XS1100F:

2H7-82508 Main Ignition Switch w/key also helmet lock)
    Oil Pump..
    2H7-85752 Fuel Sender Unit
    2F3-14940 Carb diaphram units (4)
    2H2-14985 Floats (4)
2G2-14981 Float Bowls (complete w/nuts but w/o gasket)
    2H7-82310 Coil #1
2H7-82320 Coil #2 Plug damaged but useable
Luggage Rack (sorta rusty but can be cleaned up nicely)
2H7-84330 Headlight assy w/ears and reflectors.
    Oil Filter Housing w/bolt
    Side Stand w/spring
    Center Stand w/spring
    2H7-10 TCI Unit
and finally, an OEM choke/enrichment lever.

Open to any deal so I can get back on the road. Remember, its always riding weather here in California

    Thanks

    Jack

If you're talking about the oil drain plug, go to your local auto parts store and buy a M14x 1.5 SO replacement drain plug. They will have them right on the shelf. the SO stands for single oversize. It will cut it's own threads where yours were pulled out, and go a little deeper than your plug went. Less than $5 to fix. If you are swapping oil pans, the XJ has the oil sensor built into the bottom of it that the XS doesn't have. It will work, but your oil light will stay on.

          Tod

But if you insist... I will trade all that stuff for an XJ oil pan!! lol..

Drive shaft housing, 4R0-46150. Or as I would have called it in the past, the big round thing that the drive shaft goes into and turns the rear wheel...Differential???.

LOL.. the final drive unit. Have you been seeing on here the MOD that they have been doing with the XS750 and 850 final drives? They make for better highway gearing and increased fuel mileage... but would be at a sacrifice to the stoplight to stoplight racing. Might be something to consider since it needs replacement anyway. Are you sure it's the final drive and not the middle drive?? (Where the front of the driveline attaches to the motor)

                    Willy

They will bolt right up. I had an XJ FD on my bike for quite a while before I did the FD swap. You'll see from the 4R0 P/N that it was first issued to the 81 SH. The 81 SH had a black FD, as did the XJ, hence the different prefix on the P/N.

Is the XJ 750 a shaftie also? If it is, what is the ratio? Does it look like it would bolt up to the 1100?

Its smaller than the 1100. I don't dare mess with it though, one of our members has his eye on it and, its silver, not black.
