Anyone know a good place to look for these? My left side cover has a crack in the top about 1" to the right of where the open hole is. The crack is about an inch and 1/4 long. The cover is still functional, but every time I take it off or put it back on I'm afraid of splitting the entire thing. I know Bob Jones has them but the're a bit more than what I want to spend right now and the only one I saw on ebay had a cracked bottom. Is it even possible to fix mine?

On my 80G, left side cover has a crack almost two inches long.

Used two part epoxy on the inside. Works fine.

I've got an '80-'81 Special right side cover, good shape, no cracks.
      $35 including shipping

put a piece of tape on the outside of the crack ( tempory)
then mix up some automotive fiberglass resin and pour it on the inside of the side cover
let it harden then pull off the tape
