From the thread about bring a 1979 Special back to life... mucho mucho mucho thanks to prometheus578, I can't begin to thank hime enough for his time and effort, it's midnight here, and he just left after spending about 4 hours cleaning and rebuilding my carbs, and..... IT RUNS!!!!!!!
Ok, so it still needs a lil work, (NOT on the carbs, they're superb), but no banging or knocking or noises, going to run it a bit over the next few days to free things up... but hell, a running bike, no matter how bad, is soooo much better than not running
