  • Fair Sale Price

Need some advice. I have to sell a 1980 1100SG. Bike has 21,500 original miles. Has two brand new Dunlop tires, rebuilt carbs, all new brake lines, brake pads, and all calipers and master cylinders rebuilt. New handlebars, new clutch, all maintenance done, fluids, oil, filters, etc. New battery. All above items have less than 200 miles on them. Has a problem with the 2 into 1 pipe on the left side, leaks at joint. Bike starts and runs good. Can you help me out setting a fair price?

    Thanks,
    Steve

I wouldn't expect anymore than $1500, even for a really nice on. Winter is coming, and bikes are selling too fast right now.

I take it the leak makes it run a little ragged? If so, you'll be lucky to get a grand. If you fix it and it runds good and looks good, I would ask 1500.00 USD. The other factor here is that winter is coming to the Northern hemisphere and prices drop fairly dramatically.
