xs850 forks

Have an 1980 1100 that has had the front end trashed for the second time. Have lines on a 850 and a 1100 front end the 850 is in better shape. I know the neck bearings are the same does anyone know if this will fit, useing the xs850 trees and legs with 1100 calipers/rotors and wheel. This is a low mileage bike otherwise I wouldn't bother fixing it again. I tried a forum search and found discussions about this but no yes/no answer about if it will work or not.

I know the xs750/850 brake lines are the same as 1100 after researching SS braided lines. I didn't research the forks, but I would bet the only difference may be the springs....chop
