1979 standard, slot's both sides, 7 inches center to center

1980 standard, round holes left side, 4 3/4 inch center to center
........................ slots right side, 7 1/4 inch center to center

1980 MNS and 1981 special, round holes both sides,
left side 4 7/8 inch center to center
right side 7 5/8 inch center to center
rear holes have a "slot" and frame mount points down

Don't have 78, or 81 standards, or 79 special. May be different. Someone with those bikes can post?

Should have put a piece of paper behind mounts to show em better

'78 and '79 standard are the same covers. I've gone from one to the other on Daily Ride.

Other than black tape, any ideas for lost rubber(s) on the side cover hangers?

        Used Rubbers???

        2H7-21717-00-00 DAMPER, SIDE COVER

For the slotted side covers do not appear to be available anymore.

The round ones (rubber grommet) are still available.

Could just glue some rubber to metal tab, would work ok.

If you want to get OEM looking, would not be hard to make one that would fit and look good outa 3/8" thick neoprene rubber. Cut to shape with a razor knife.
