So I was putting on my newly powder coated rear wheel rotor and I discovered that the bearing under thr rotor is a bit hinky. By a "bit hinky" I mean it turns like a bag of mismatched marbles lubricated by sand. Not good. So I set to work pulling off the dust cover (oil seal?) covering the bearing. And that's as far as I got. How does this seal come off? I want to reuse the seal, so I don't want to trash it, but it doesn't move at all. Do I just muscle that sucker and pry it off with a screwdriver, condition be damned, or is there an easier way?
Suggestions will be valued.
Oh, and thanks to Andreas to the replacement rotors. A definite upgrade.
