    XS11 shift fork

    Rep[lacing 1,2,4,5 gears in tranny,shift fork 3 has wear on face.Will this be a problem or should I replace it.Other 2 forks are in good shape no visable wear.thanx

    If it was my bike, I'd replace it. I don't like going into the tranny more than once, if I can help it.
    I did replace shift forks on my tranny when I did the first/second gear fix.

        I'm with Ray on this one...I need to fix my 1st gear, did 2nd gear fix a few years back, didn't replece forks, think that was a contributing factor to the current problem. Will replace all 3 forks this time around.

          It wouldn't hurt to replace the shift drum, also.
          Here is the P/N: 2H7-18540-00-00 Bike bandit shows them dicontinued, but you may find one through Yamaha.
