    NEEDED Throttle Grip for an XJ

    Hi All,
    I was twisting the ole throttle and it twisted off in my hand!!

    Does anyone have a spare throttle grip piece? The assembley is fine, the white plastic that the grip goes over is broken at the base. I am going to try gorillia gluing it but am afraid it won't hold and will break loose at the worst possible moment!

    You should be able to buy a replacement from Yamaha, or an online parts store(mikes xs, bikebandit, etc.).

      Hey jim..........U can still get from Yamaha........just ordered one myself today........bout a $20bill. It also comes with the OEM grip on it. Gonna remove it and donate it to anyone here who would want it, just the postage to send...........Brant.

              hand grip

              Hey there trbig, send me an e-maill to brperson@msn.com showing XS11 as subject. List your mailing address and as soon as I get it, see if I can salvage grip off it(should be able to with my compressor and blower nozzle) I'll get it to you.
