Finally getting around to posting some pictures of my project over the last 2 winters. Bought it for $1000 with 15k miles on it. Had no idea the significance of what I had until I found this site. My brother paints agricultural sprayers so we set up a makeshift paint booth in his garage. It's still a work in progress (aren't they all). I just did what I thought would look good.

    New:
Mirrors, Grips, Levers, 16.2" Apehangers, Full LED conversion (signals, brake, guages with green backlight), Headlight lens replacement with green light ring, MAC 4-2 side turnout exhaust, Custom leather seat cover, Red rear signal lenses, Front and rear signals wired for running lights, Dual 55W fog lights, Highway pegs, In-line fuel filters, Green LED light kit, Fusebox from TopCatGr58, K&N individual air filters

    PPG Black:
Frame, Shocks, Signals, Headlight, Guages, Handlebars, Engine Guards, Shifter and brake foot levers, Carburator covers, Triple Tree, Brake Calipers, License plate mount

House of Kolor Green Ice Pearl Glass Flake:
Side Covers, Swingarm, Footpeg mounts, Rear brake mounting, Final Drive, Grab Bar, Helmet, Rotors, Forks, Front Name Plate, Handlebar controls, Wheels

House of Kolor Green Ice Pearl Glass Flake with Silver Pearl:
    Tank, Fenders

House of Kolor High Temp Black:
Engine (silver trim on fins and lettering/complete stainless bolt replacement)

This winter I hope to dismantle the carbs to give em a good cleanin' and a coat of green. The brakes need cleaning and stainless lines. The MAC exhaust was blue within a half hour so I think I'll paint that as well.

I'm pretty tall so my arms are pretty much straight out. REAL comfortable. Rode it 900 miles to Sturgis and back. No real vibration either. Headlight is from JCWhitney.

I've got the same headlight, PILOT brand! They also make an aux. driving light with those accent rings as well!

But with the headlight on, the green ring is hard to see!
I wired the rings up to a separate DPDT switch so that I could turn the accents on and off, they are OFF when my AUX lights are ON!

You need to get some GREEN SS brake lines!

                Side turnouts?

                Hi mpcluever

What do those pipes sound like?

I've got a 4in1 with a normal can. Saw a side turnout that should fit on the header for about $50 (new) but don't want it to be too loud...

Saw something similar on Ackmac's ''Crome Queen'', but can't remember if he had 4 in 1 or 4to 2 ?

Anyone put in onto a 4in1???

I like the sound of them. A bit more of a growl to it, but not crazy. They are definately still muffled. I just wish the headers didn't turn blue so fast.

                    cables

How did you get your cables extended, or where did you get them (custom) made?

                    Thanks

found them on ebay. there's a set there right now.

5" longer than stock. I also made extra slack by sneaking them in through the front of the tank. I got the brake line separate that advertised 8" longer. It wasn't so it's stretched a little. I figured it would work for a summer until the stainless lines come!

Do the LED's put much of a drain on the Battery/Charging System? I want to put some led markers on the Battle Cruiser, but I am constantly fighting with the voltage monsters.

I have a set of driving lights on the front for extra visibility and if it weren't for the voltmeter I installed, I might have run down below the magic 10.5 volt mark and stranded myself before I shut them down. Some hyper bright leds might do the trick.

LEDs use almost NO electricity. I've left them on for hours and it starts just fine. It's a big reason to convert all the little lights on the bike to LEDs. All that saved electricity can be used on stuff like extra halogens!

Those pipes look exactly like what PO installed on the Battle Cruiser. I like them a lot, loud enough to sound good, but not Obnoxious Harley loud. Mine are getting pretty marked up, I saw a set like em on JCWHITNEY.COM. Looking for a new set of headers and then getting those pipes from JC whitless.
