Well , While cleaning a bit of goo off one of the XJ plastic floats .
Scraping it with my thumb nail , no chemicals . About 1/4" flaked away , whoops ....
So , I see Mikes XS has floats , and I'm guessing it might be best to buy four so they all match or can I get by with the one i need for sure ?? How close to stock are the floats aftermarket ??

I cant believe I'm still messing with carbs ...I do have a set of brass floats . But want to save them for the 79XS carbs they go with as soon as the stuck idle jets come out ..
