Looking at some slip-ons for the bike since I really don't have anything currently. Looking at these at MikesXS #07-0019, #07-0013 or these from JCWhitney http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...014672/c-10111
just wondering if anyone had any experience good or badc with either.

I already have the loud pipes and want something quieter with some baffles.

Years ago I got some long megaphone muffs from jcw. They were not loud, but I could't get the bike to run right with them. Glass pack.

The ones from JCW show to be removable baffles that can be rewrapped with fiberglass. The ones from MikesXS don't specify. Anyone have any experience with them?

I've gone to a supertrapp from Summit. Mostly cause it's tunable, and I needed more breathing for my bore kit.

I like the bolt in kind with the fiberglass wrap. Several years ago, (on my Honda) the bolt holding in the baffle had rattled loose and an acceleration from a stop sign blew the baffle into the intersection. A truck was kind enough to run it over for me.

The replacement one I got had the fiberglass wrappping, but my bike kept dying on the way home. If I took it out it was fine. So I just took a pair of tin snips and started cutting it away bit by bit and trying it in the bike until it ran well. Problem solved.
