Manual for an XJ1100

Does anyone know where I can find a Haynes/Clymer's/Chiltons manual for my 82 XJ1100? I've searched but can't find any!

You will not find one. No after-market manual was produced for the XJ. Factory shop manual is still available from Yamaha, occasionally find one of those and / or an Owner's manual (not available from Yamaha) on eBay. One of our members, Rockjoc, has the XJ service manual (and others) scanned and on a CD for - last I heard - $10.00. Heck of a deal; my factory manual cost me $42.00 many years ago. Manual part number is LIT-11616-02-78.

Or...you can also visit another member's site and download both the Owner's and Service manual (in .pdf) if you wish. (Password required, see details on page.) Rockjoc's CD also has pats lists, but they are also on-line from the Yamaha site.
