    I'm thinking of building several different sizes...1.5 , 1.75, and 2.0 inches.

That's just a MAC 4-1 megaphone with the stock baffle out replaced with a big Vance and Hines baffle.

You can get the megaphone at mawonline.com for about $350 and the baffle for 40 or 50 from V&H. However Supertrapp makes even a cooler setup. Check my new exhaustin this thread:

nah i just want to replace the muffler for the sake to make it sound louder. I dont know if i have a removable baffle on mine. its a jardine 4-1 exhaust and on the bottom it has a little kinda rivet thing near the end but thats the only bolt i see on the muffler.

Drill the rivet out. Take a slide hammer. Hook it to the inside of the baffle and POUND POUND POUND the heck out of it. The original will be difficult to get out but it will come.

Then slide the new baffle in. I drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 thread into the lip of the baffle then secured it into the megaphone with a short button head screw.

              Nice

So how much would it cost me to make my own 'Spaghetti Trapps'? I've noticed that your mufflers are longer than mine. Mine end just short of the axle. What is the P/N of those pipes? Mine is 8102 (L or R)

I'm not sure where the SN for these pipes are. But mine has a cross-over tube between the muffs.

you can call supertrapp sales and get a quote. but mine were about $80 or 90 per side. Each side had one 2"X 20" straight flow through baffle wrapped in ceramic fiber and one 12 plate end cap.

then I ordered 12 more plates for each side and the total was about $230 or $250 ..I can't recall exactly.

However you shouldn't need a 20" baffle. I think an 18 would work fine without having to cut it.

I will put this thing on the dyno within the next couple days so we can see how it compares to a high flowing 4-1 (namely my 4-1 with R1 can).

I am certain i lost a little (maybe 1-2 hp) up top but gain a whales portion of torque in the bottom and mid range. This supertrikk pipe is the proverbial cat's meow for torque and flexible tuning.

Dan left this morning. he was here a couple days helping me tweek the tuning for the exhaust. We really didn;t have to do much so I'm thinking we may not have lost anything on top....just gain GRUNT! something this behemoth dresser certainly can use.
