I am wondering if you can have a key made for the ignition since i lost my key?

Take the serial number off the key latch and call your local yami dealer. Should fix you up.79 XS1100F "JINGUS"

Look for the number uder the ignition switch. It's a code and any locksmith and most dealers can cut you a new one. Or, if there isn't a number visible, take the whole ignition switch in to any competent locksmith and he/she can make you one.
