immediately blow out. Does anyone have suggestions for
most likely cause of problem and best approach to isolate
faulty component ? Don't have wiring schematic. Help Please...

    Hey Rew,

Here's a post in the Links section that you may find helpful!

The ignition fuse runs from the fuse first to the EMERGENCY kill switch, they have been known to corrode, or the wires can come loose causing a direct short to ground! After that, it runs to the Starter Solenoid and the TCI. Hopefully you have a voltmeter or ohmeter so you can test circuits for continuity. Start at the fuse, and also first unplug the TCI, and then check for a connection to ground/frame, then move to the kill switch, repeat. You may be able to narrow down what section of wire is involved, possibly wire rubbed bare grounding to frame?!
    Good Luck!
