Part question.

What is the part that sticks out between header pipe 2 & 3. It just sticks out a little from the engine. I feel kind of stupid asking but it's got oil leaking from it and I want to fix it. Thanks

Cam chain tensioner

That is your cam chain tensioner. It is probably leaking from the little plug that goes into the front of it.

Can also leak from lock bolt or gasket, (little permatex on gasket stopped my leak there)

BTW
easy to strip lock bolt on tensioner, if your not sure how much to tighten.....get a torque wrench. Should lock bolt fail....can cause extensive top end damage.
