My search has come to an end. The V-STAR 1100 2001-2006 Stainless Braided Clutch Cable is a PERFECT FIT. Absolutely NO modifications needed to install this beautiful cable. My handlebars are shaped like an XS standard, so I purchased the "1100 Custom" cables,you may want to get the "classic" cable which is longer...the yamaha part # is STR-5EL48-20-SD.....chop
