  • And Another Bolt Question!

Well, It's actually a nut question, since I don't have any extra laying around and I don't want to loosen the head torque nuts. I need to know the exact thread size if anyone knows....

There ARE acorn nuts in that size, they're just hard to find. I got mine at (cringe) a Harley dealer. Of course, I didn't tell him it was for a Yamaha, because he would have told me "they won't fit".

Idiot actually told me that fork oil for a Harley wouldn't work in a Yamaha. Asked him what weight it was, 'cause the bottle wasn;'t marked for wieght, but he couldn't answer. I put it back on the shelf!

Yeah, I gotta laugh there! They just want HD riders to blindly buy "genuine HD" stuff. BTW, "HD" stands for "hundreds of dollars."
