Anyone tried putting polyurethane motor mounts instead of oem rubber?

When I pull the motor to detail my LG I plan on using poly for the motor mounts.Pat Kelly

I don't have them yet. When the time comes I'll head to the 4x4 shop I used to work at and compare them there.
Energy Suspension sells poly bushings. If the have an on-line catalog you could probably find them by dimension. They would be easy enough to 'modify if need be so a larger diameter or smaller bolt hole would be easy to dial in.Pat Kelly

Hey pat, please keep me posted, that sounds like a better idea than mine. I was looking into getting some poly tube stock and cutting it to length. The only problem is that it looks like the bolt diameter on a couple of the mounts are different. I really can't tell on the rear mounts....any idea there?MDRNF
