I got her running !!
But not idleing good yet. Wants to creep up to 4000 rpms and can flick the kill switch to get about 2000 rpms ....
Had found a pinched off fuel line , two bad spark plugs . One carb
had a main jet about to fall off.New battery installed . Not much cash envolved yet !!Have cleaned the carbs...
Looking on a way to set the floats , but might need a nipple to put a tube on the drain hole . This only has a small boss the drain srcew seal on ....
I have not checked for rubber boots leaking or the butterflys ...
A few things I notice is that cyl 2 , 3 and four header pipes get hot to sizzle quick. Number one cyl is pretty warm but not too hot.
Number one carb sucks my hand instantly and lots of fuel wets the hand ...2 , 3 and four carbs take a few seconds then vacuum picks up and draws fuel ...
Not sure what this stuff indicates yet ??
Another thing is I lift the slides up on each carb and no change, they go up then down right away at 2g's ....
But I cranked her to 6 or 6500 rpm and the sound is awesome !!!
Sounds nice an "lumpy" around 2000 , like an 11 second bike should ....
Cant wait to get the bugs worked out , but cant be too much farther to go ....
Any thoughts on what to look for next ???
