  • Center Stand Question

I am assuming the answer is yes however I want to make sure.

    Will a 80 xs1100 center stand bolt right into a 81 xs1100?

    Thanks
    Wes Bowen

Wes, both MRO and Scoobes are right ( )

If you are asking about 1980 & 1981 Standards then they are different part numbers (and I don't know for sure ) but they will probably interchange. Looks to me like they just changed the way the pedal sweeps upward and the bracing on it.

If you are asking about Specials then they are the same part number and will interchange.

Probably best to update your profile & signature to say whether you've got a standard or a special.

Thanks for the Answer everyone. My centerstand is bent, one of the prior owners took a spill and rendered the center stand useless, so I am going to buy on off of ebay.

          Thanks
