  • Who has polished carb pics?

I just bought a spare set of carbs to rebuild. Time isn't an issue with these, so I'm thinking of a complete disassembly and full polish. Any XS masochists out there with pictures of polished carb bodies?

No, not polished, but I painted mine. Check out this post

When you're done polishing, don't forget to post pics!

Nice job Randy. I think that's a pretty cool look, especially if you coordinate with the bike color. Hmmm...

Of course they're color coordinated! I think a fully polished set would look even better but it would be a LOT of work!

            Damn Randy

That's still a damn nice looking scoot. I like the color co-ordinated hat too.

Very, very nice. What are you running for shocks?

                Thanks, John. How's the back?

                  Thanks for asking, Randy

My back is better than I thought it would be at this time. I have been able to do a couple of sit ups, and just a few days ago, I was able to touch my toes again. I was told I would never be able to do that again. My biggest problem is the PITA! Literally. I can't sit comfortably on the bike for more than 100 miles or so, with out being XStremely uncomfortable.
SWMBO and I and a new member, Hobby Man, stuck a new engine in Foster Child today, and it busted right off with no problems. The engine is out of the 78 E (Organ Donor) that I bought a few years ago. In fact, the TCI that you fixed for me came from the 78.
