I didn't think that I should post a product recommendation without using it myself, so I thought I'd just pass this along. NGK makes racing wires with integrated plug caps which look pretty good, but what really looks interesting is P/N J-1, Stock No. 8083
It's a plug wire splice kit. 360 deg. compression fitting, waterproof, looks pretty slick. http://ngk.com/results_cross.asp?pid=8083 If the first couple inches of wire coming out of your stock coils looks good, (and you don't feel like grinding away at them with a dremel tool) these might be worth a shot.
